Work at the Y

Join us at the YMCA to strengthen our community and connect people to their potential and purpose – together, we thrive!

Find your purpose. Find your Y.

As the leading nonprofit for not only our area, but across the country, we strengthen communities by connecting people to their potential, purpose, and each other. At the center of this work is one pivotal element – a true force that makes this all possible: you.

No matter what role you take on at the Y, you’ll show up each day with the satisfaction of knowing your contributions are helping to empower young people, improve health and well-being, and inspire action in your community. Working side by side with diverse leaders with different backgrounds, perspectives and strengths, you’ll discover new ways to connect with your community, find your purpose and fuel your passion every day!

Youth Development

Youth Development

At the Y, we’re old enough to know that success starts at a young age. That’s why we’re advocates for helping children through all phases of their development. Become a valuable part of a child’s life as a staff member with our School Age Childcare program or create an unforgettable summer as a staff member with our Camp programs.

Healthy Living

Healthy Living

At the Y, we focus on improving our communities’ health & well-being by bringing families together, encouraging good health, and fostering connections through fitness, sports, fun, and share interests. Become a difference maker in a member’s life as a Personal Trainer, Wellness Center Staff, Group Exercise Instructor, Youth Sports Coach, and more!

Social Responsibility

At the Y, our leaders, volunteers, and partners are empowering people in our communities to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure. Become an important member of our community as a staff member with the 21C After School program or assist in creating a safe environment in the water by being a Swim Instructor or Lifeguard.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging

At the Green Bay YMCA, we are committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, striving to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels they belong. Our dedication to being an anti-racist organization helps us address social inequities and strengthen our community.

We celebrate the diversity of our team and the communities we serve. We’re dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility guide us in supporting each person’s potential, regardless of their background or identity. Join us in making a difference together!
