GB Summer Afternoon Camps

2024 GREEN BAY PUBLIC SCHOOLS SUMMER AFTERNOON CAMPS

In partnership with Green Bay Area Public Schools, the YMCA is a community partner that will be offering afternoon summer camp programs following your child’s morning at summer school.

  • Children must be enrolled in the GBAPS Summer School morning session to be eligible for the YMCA afternoon camps.
  • To enroll, children must be entering 5K through 5th grade for the 2024-25 school year.  Children entering 6th grade or older are not eligible.

The Green Bay YMCA summer camp program is offered each afternoon until 5pm. Kids will stay at their summer school site and jump into hours of fun with the Y staff. The afternoon will be packed with high energy and engaging activities such as large and small group games, themed clubs, healthy snack, team time, service learning, outdoor play and free choice centers. Our Y afternoon summer campers will head off on two exciting field trips each week. One weekly field trip will take us to a local Y to get active with gymnastics, ninja, sports or swimming and the other field trip will be to a community site based upon the theme of the week. Y campers will experience a different theme each and every week of summer.
