LiveSTRONG® at the YMCA
This program for adult cancer survivors combines exercise and wellness to support your holistic health goals and fitness journey.
Empowering Cancer Survivors with LivesSTRONG® at the YMCA
LiveSTRONG® at the YMCA is a physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors achieve their holistic health goals. The free 12-week cancer wellness program meets twice a week for 75-minutes, using traditional exercise methods to ease you back into fitness and help you maintain a healthy weight. Participants work with Y staff, trained in supportive cancer care, to focus on:
- building muscle mass and strength
- increasing flexibility and endurance
- improving confidence and self-esteem

In addition to physical benefits, LiveSTRONG® at the YMCA focuses on emotional well-being of survivors and their families by providing a supportive community where people impacted by cancer can connect during treatment and beyond. By focusing on the whole person and not the disease, LiveSTRONG® at the YMCA helps people move beyond cancer in spirit, mind, and body.

Stay Strong Program
Stay Strong is a free opportunity for LiveSTRONG® at the YMCA alumni to continue their wellness journey with the friends they’ve made, and focuses on building strength, endurance, and friendships. Registration is not required, so stop by if you’re a LiveSTRONG® at the YMCA alumni!

East Side Y on Tuesdays and West Side Y on Thursdays:
- 11:45am – 12:30pm
- 5:30pm – 6:15pm
